GIFT CARD COLLECTION

Post ISD will be collecting monetary gift cards for schools in the Houston area affected by the devastation of Hurricane Harvey. If you would like to donate a gift card to be given to schools to replace supplies, etc., please bring it by central office, 501 S. Ave. K. We will collect the cards and determine what schools are in the greatest need and get the cards to them. Any and all amounts are very much appreciated! We know first hand what it is like to lose everything due to disaster and schools from all over the state of Texas assisted us in our time of need. Please help us help the victims of this hurricane.

2017-2018 Post ISD Adopted Budget

Post ISD Board of Trustees met August 29, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. for purposes of adopting a budget for the 2017-2018 school year and adopting M&O and I&S tax rates that would support the proposed budget. The attached budget was adopted and a tax rate of $1.6067 was adopted ($1.0267 for M&O and $.5800 for I&S).

2017-2018 School Calendar

On April 20, 2017, Post ISD Board of Trustees officially adopted the school calendar for the 2017-2018 school year. They also formally approved the District of Innovation plan which allows us to begin school on August 17, 2017.

Post ISD District of Innovation Plan

The Post ISD Board of Trustees passed a resolution supporting the pursuit of district of innovation status for Post ISD on Thursday, March 9, 2017. The Board also held a public hearing and appointed a district of innovation committee to develop a district of innovation plan for the 2017-2018 school year and beyond. There will be a public meeting concerning the district of innovation plan on March 20, 2017 at 3:45 p.m. in Post ISD's central administration office. The plan that was developed is attached below.
