Post ISD will start food delivery and online learning on Monday, March 30th. Please fill out the online survey. It has questions that will help us with providing these services. The survey will help us to determine how many meals will be needed and where the meals will be delivered. It will also tell us which students need a computer and who has internet access. If you do not have internet access, paper packets will be delivered.
We will be handing out computers this week in front of your student’s campus on Thursday, March 26th, and Friday, March 27th. Pick-up times on Thursday will be from 10:00 a.m.– Noon and 4:00 p.m.- 6:00 p.m. Pick-up times for Friday will be from 8:00 a.m.- Noon. High school pick-up times will be in the mornings only.
On Monday, March 30th, food delivery will start at 10:30 a.m. Each day we will delivering that day’s lunch and the next day’s breakfast. As a COVID-19 precaution, the meals will be delivered with as little direct contact as possible. This is for your protection and for the protection of our employees. Our employee will leave the meals on your porch after knocking on your door. We are following the social distancing guidelines, and we appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
We will deliver meals and assignments daily. If you have anything that needs to go back to the school, you can leave it where your meals are left. The employee will pick it up and return it to the school. Your student will receive instructions from the teachers through email, if they are using the online method.
This is the first time that we have attempted to teach in a distance learning format. Please be patient as we work through this process. Post ISD will continue to provide the best education possible for your student. Thanks for all you do and for allowing us to educate your child. Please be safe and let us know if you have any questions or concerns.
