The Post Antelope basketball team won the district championship! It has been several decades since a boys' basketball team won the district championship. Congratulations, Antelope Basketball! Playoff game on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at 8:00 p.m. in Littlefield.
The Lady Lopes basketball team defeated Lockney in the bi-district championship Tuesday, February 13 in a 52-30 win. Congratulations to Coach Bloskas and the Lady Lopes! The team will advance to play Stratford in Amarillo on Friday evening at 6:30 p.m. at Amarillo High School.
Post ISD Board of Trustees recognized two teachers as "Antelope Aces" at their February 8, 2018 regularly scheduled board meeting. Receiving recognition as "Antelope Aces" were Mrs. Keely Comeaux and Mrs. Nicole Lonis. Mrs. Comeaux and Mrs. Lonis are first grade teachers at Post ISD and each of them has gone "above and beyond" to provide our first graders with exceptional instruction in reading and mathematics. Mrs. Comeaux teaches reading and Mrs. Lonis teaches math and both have done outstanding jobs.
Congratulations to Mrs. Comeaux and Mrs. Lonis for receiving the inaugural "Antelope Aces" recognition from Post ISD Board of Trustees.
Post ISD Board of Trustees met August 29, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. for purposes of adopting a budget for the 2017-2018 school year and adopting M&O and I&S tax rates that would support the proposed budget. The attached budget was adopted and a tax rate of $1.6067 was adopted ($1.0267 for M&O and $.5800 for I&S).
