Mrs. Tonya Dunn was honored as one of Post ISD's Antelope Aces on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at the regularly scheduled school board meeting. Mrs. Dunn was honored for her journalism's contribution to the district winning point total for Post High School's winning UIL academic team.
Dr. Bill Coltrane and Robert Ayres were honored as Antelope Aces by PISD School Board on Thursday, April 12th for their initiative in assisting Mr. Wilson and Mr. Garza with morning security during breakfast at the middle school. Thank you, Dr. Coltrane and Mr. Ayres for all you do to make Post Middle School and PISD successful!
Post ISD Board of Trustees met August 29, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. for purposes of adopting a budget for the 2017-2018 school year and adopting M&O and I&S tax rates that would support the proposed budget. The attached budget was adopted and a tax rate of $1.6067 was adopted ($1.0267 for M&O and $.5800 for I&S).
On April 20, 2017, Post ISD Board of Trustees officially adopted the school calendar for the 2017-2018 school year. They also formally approved the District of Innovation plan which allows us to begin school on August 17, 2017.
The Post ISD Board of Trustees passed a resolution supporting the pursuit of district of innovation status for Post ISD on Thursday, March 9, 2017. The Board also held a public hearing and appointed a district of innovation committee to develop a district of innovation plan for the 2017-2018 school year and beyond. There will be a public meeting concerning the district of innovation plan on March 20, 2017 at 3:45 p.m. in Post ISD's central administration office. The plan that was developed is attached below.
