Post ISD is committed to providing high-quality, individualized educational support to students with disabilities. Our Special Services department partners with families, teachers, and support staff to create inclusive learning environments where all students can meet their goals. Through tailored instruction, related services, and ongoing progress monitoring, we ensure every Antelope receives the support they need to succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.

Serena Voss, District Counselor
My name is Serena Voss. I have worked for POST ISD since 1992, and have been a counselor since 1997. I accept student referrals for counseling from all Post ISD campuses – Pre-K thru 12th. I am the designated contact for referrals to Texas Tech Health Science Center (Telehealth), which are subject to acceptance by TTHSC review. I schedule student presentations from a variety of venders, such as Voice of Hope, Texas Tech Health Science -- CATR, Lubbock Health Department, Garza County Community Recovery Center and other District approved programs, typically geared toward grades 6 thru 12, which may include the following topics:
- Staying drug-free
- Vaping
- How to stay safe online
- Bullying
- Consequences of cyber bullying
- Healthy relationships
- Suicide or self-harm prevention
- Conflict Resolution
- Other social emotional skills
